Mark Cabiness is a music publisher, writer, producer, broadcaster, and speaker.  The music business has taken Mark on adventures far from his native North Carolina—from Nashville to Broadway to Hollywood and back. He is president/ceo of Jubilate Music Group—a worldwide music publisher creating printed and digital music, recordings, and videos.

Mark’s Personal Mission Statement

To fully realize all I am created to be, and to positively impact as many lives as possible, from a Christian perspective, utilizing my God-given abilities to communicate ideas which encourage, enlighten, entertain and/or inspire others.

Dr. Diane Earle has performed in 13 countries, including three extensive tours in China. She has also performed in nine European concert tours and 31 states. National highlights include Carnegie Hall and the Kennedy Center. Diane is featured on several CDs and DVDs, and plays in approximately 200 performances each year.

In Confessions of a Shameless Name-Dropper: An Evening with Mark Cabiness, Mark tells witty and inspiring stories of his fun connections through the years in the music business and broadcasting. The stories are mixed with music and visual media that bring audiences into his world.

Join him as he shares the inside scoop of his encounters with legendary entertainers Bob Barker, Andy Griffith, Shirley Jones, Kathie Lee Gifford, Steve Allen, Dick Clark, Sherwood Schwartz (Gilligan’s Island), and more! It’s a walk down a classic showbiz memory lane.

The stories, photos, and video clips are woven together with beloved songs (Try to Remember, Trouble in River City, Edelweiss, and many more) sung by Mark and accompanied by international touring pianist Dr. Diane Earle. Audiences will celebrate the transforming power of music and walk away not only entertained and inspired, but educated about the complexities of the world of entertainment.

Dr. David Hailey will provide the keynote address on Tuesday morning and will encourage older adults to BE BOLD in their lives and in their walks with the Lord!

David has been pastor of Hayes Barton Baptist Church since 1996.  A native Midwesterner (Chillicothe, IL), Dave traveled a circuitous route to Raleigh, North Carolina. Educated in Tennessee and Kentucky, he has served churches in Tennessee, Georgia and North Carolina, long enough to cultivate a Southern drawl and a love for grits!
