Baptist Churches Help to Launch CRC
Posted by Wendy Minton Edwards in category on July 13, 2012
Congratulations to the Madison Avenue Baptist Church in Goldsboro and the FBC of Kinston! Both churches are graciously opening their doors to the aging community in a spirit of county partnership.
FBC Kinston will host the Lenoir County CRC (Community Resource Connection) launch on August 14, 9-12 noon. Madison Avenue BC will host the Wayne County CRC launch on August 23, 9-12 noon. CRC's are a partnership effort among aging service providers to ensure maximum benefit for area seniors. Service providers, including NCBAM, work together in order to meet the needs of aging adults, without the elderly having to go from one agency to another seeking assistance.
Aging adults, caregivers, and families are invited to participate in each free event. Representatives from several agencies that provide a service for seniors, explanation of the CRC strategy, refreshments, entertainment, and door prizes will be provided. Contact NCBAM for more information about CRCs.
NCBAM is happy to partner with other aging service providers in Lenoir and Wayne Counties. Thanks FBC Kinston and Madison Avenue BC, for showing your love of the community, by making your fine facilities available to area aging adults.
