Great Senior Event
Posted by Wendy Minton Edwards in category on December 07, 2011
Yesterday I had a special opportunity! I briefly shared about NCBAM with the 350 North Roanoke Association seniors who gathered to celebrate the birth of our beloved savior Jesus Christ. This annual event was held at Calvary Baptist Church in Roanoke Rapids where the folks there did a wonderful job in providing a lovely, festive, accommodating environment. Steve Freeman, of Steve Freeman Ministries, did his usual job of providing entertaining jokes, heartwarming music, and a moving message. His testimony of God's faithfulness was encouraging and inspiring. Barbara Coburn and the good folks at Calvary BC are to be commended for their superb organization and warm hospitality. I was delighted to be a part of this event and enjoyed sharing about NCBAM and some of the many ways Christians can partner to serve the needs of the frail elderly in our communities.
Please contact NCBAM for detailed information about some of the many aging ministry opportunities in your community.
