NCBAM’s 2020 Senior Adult Ministry State Leadership Conference will encourage leaders in their ministry to those waiting on the Lord during difficult seasons of life. Senior adults will also be blessed and encouraged. The event features a keynote address by Rev. Michael Barrett (“The Waiting Room Experience”) and 12 breakout options focusing on holistic strategies for gaining peace, wisdom, and renewal during seasons of waiting.


Keynote Speaker

Michael Barrett will present “The Waiting Room Experience” referencing Isaiah 40:31 and Psalm 27:14. Michael retired from Pleasant Garden Baptist Church after pastoring for thirty years and now serves the Piedmont Baptist Association.   He attended Gardner-Webb University and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.  He has served as a Trustee with the International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention.
